Gentiva Hospice has an opportunity available for a documentation specialist! This position consists of, but is not limited to: assisting our patient care managers with miscellaneous documenting and filing every month. This position would be great for someone who is retired from the healthcare field, currently in healthcare, administrative, clerical, or anyone who just enjoys office type busy work! Gentiva Hospice has an opportunity available to spend some much needed time with our patients who enjoy doing recreational activities such as going outside when it's nice, playing cards, doing puzzles, word searches, listening to music, taking to programs, etc. We often underestimate the power of a listening ear, a friendly touch, and a comforting voice. We're on a mission to honor the lives of our patients by sharing their stories and giving families these stories as a keep sake. We are in need of companionship volunteers to see patients on a regular basis and assist them with filling out memory booklets.
