Needing volunteers to be involved with our terminally ill patients, that might just need a little more attention from a friendly person who wants to specifically visit them.
We want to offer whatever you have to provide. We cannot take a patient physically for a drive or to the store, but running errands is not out of the question. We would rather have you visit and get them involved with you and others, some have roommates, some do not, and some have no family. so being alone can be lonely.
If you have a craft idea or just want to sit and talk about their lives and what they have done, we can record that information for their family that is yet to come or live far away. Some times it is talking about experiences and travels, playing games, watching TV, or helping them go to an activity.
Your involvement is a blessing and sometimes you do not know just how much you can offer to those that have no visitors. I would like to meet you and discuss opportunities.

We advocate on behalf of our patients to ensure their comfort and final wishes are being granted. We strive to connect with all of our patients and provide personalized physical, mental and spiritual care.
Description
Providing care and comfort to patients. Opportunities include direct patient visitation and administrative support. We provide feedback to schools for volunteer credit. We provide internships for those in nursing and social work. Travel will be limited, with the exception of internships, which may be only to visit different sites. Our goal is to provide companionship as well as socialization to those who express desire to have a volunteer visit. Our scope of activities may be limitless, we help with light housekeeping, running errands, helping with activities, quiet time to reflect and hear life experiences.

- 1-2 hours a week, going to the facility, calling family (if there are family to call), and making a difference one patient at a time.
- TB testing, Drug testing, and background screening, are all paid by our company. COVID vaccinations are requested, but you can waive this qualification for religious or medical concerns.
