Our purpose is to raise up the voices of people on the ground in difficult places, especially those who are going to bat for others. One way to do that is to give access to folks on our Bluesky account, the new Twitter-replacement that is currently in private beta with some key influencers. By sharing access to this account with people in Sudan, Afghanistan, Myanmar, Syria etc, we can help them tell their stories and reach folks who might be able to help. We also train people on how to lobby, how to write journalisticaly etc. But, we are a very small scrappy group of volunteers so be ready to roll up your sleeves.
If you are social media savvy, dedicated to human rights, and excited about connecting directly to smart and talented people in places where they need a hand, doing things to help specific individuals as well as overall groups, this is the role for you!

civ.works is a privacy protected social platform built for meaningful civic action.
The concept of civ.works is to finally provide a societal machine to stand up against something created nearly 50 years ago -and begin the process of empowering citizens again. We are building a platform together -against an incredibly mature and well-funded machine. Your volunteer efforts will be helping us collectively build something powerful and important.
