Aging Ahead's CHOICE program is a unique model of creating senior center communities within the places that older adults already congregate. This volunteer opportunity is based at the Edward Jones YMCA in Maryland Heights. A CHOICE Volunteer assists Aging Ahead staff with program operations, engages in activities with participants (occasionally bringing your own activities, games, or crafts to share), assists with lunch distribution (bonus, if you are 60 or over, you qualify for a lunch yourself!) and helps with clean up after the program is over. It's a casual and fun volunteer position. We are looking for volunteers for Mondays and Wednesdays 10am to 1pm.
