Canine Feeder - Evening Shift at Senior Dog Sanctuary

ORGANIZATION: Lily's Legacy Senior Dog Sanctuary

Lily and her friends

Evening feeders arrive at 4pm to begin the dog's bedtime routine. Feeders start with one last walk for each dog before they return to the barn for dinner. Each dog is fed an individualized diet. Medications, if any, are also given according to a precise med chart. After dinner, bowls are washed, beds are straightened and changed (if needed), floors are swept and water bowls filled.

Feeders are some of the most important people in the dog's day. You will be well-loved and greeted with plenty of happy tails!

Most of our work with dogs occurs outside, rain or shine. We may ask for proof of COVID-19 vaccination. We ask that you respect your fellow peers and any volunteers who have been knowingly exposed or have been traveling will isolate and only return to their shifts after testing negative.
