Estamos buscando especialmente voluntarios bilingües!
¡Pase tiempo con gatos y gatitos, y ayúdelos a encontrar hogares amorosos!
¡Estamos buscando personas expertas en gatos para ayudar con las adopciones de gatos! Los consejeros de adopción conocen a nuestros gatos adoptables, hablan con los posibles adoptantes, ayudan a hacer buenas combinaciones entre los gatos y las familias, ¡y responden muchas preguntas sobre los gatos!
Brindaremos capacitación. Los turnos son los jueves, viernes, sábados y domingos, de 12:00 a 14:30 y de 14:30 a 17:00, y le pedimos que se inscriba en al menos dos turnos por mes.
Nota: se le pedirá que complete la capacitación en línea Shelter Fear Free (aproximadamente 6 horas) dentro de los 2 meses posteriores a su incorporación al equipo. ¡Aprenderás mucho sobre el comportamiento de los gatos y cómo hacer que su estancia en un refugio sea más cómoda!

Description
Nine Lives Foundation is a not-for-profit, no-kill shelter for cats and kittens. We rescue at risk cats and kittens, provide them with medical care, and find them loving adoptive homes.
We adopted out 601 cats and kittens in 2022! We also run a low-cost spay/neuter clinic for feral cats, members of the community, and partner rescue organizations - in 2022 we spayed/neutered 3,425 cats and kittens!
We have two locations in Redwood city: our medical clinic at 3137 Jefferson Avenue and our Adoption Center at 3106 Rolison Road. We invite you to visit our clinic and adoption center to see how your volunteering makes a difference in the lives of so many cats and kittens.
Make a difference in your community by helping the cats and kittens in our care. Every volunteer hour helps!
Our volunteers are a driving force behind Nine Lives Foundation. Without their dedication, we would not be able to give so many kitties the care they deserve. Opportunities for volunteers include working in our adoption center and clinic, fostering, cat care and enrichment, transport, fundraising events & community outreach, technical support, administrative help, and more!
