Parents and guardians can expect the highest quality learning and care for their children ages 16 months to 5 years with year-round enrollment at Wilder’s Child Development Center (CDC). Our staff and teachers continually recognize and strive to meet the diverse needs, abilities, interests, and cultures of children and families, where each person is valued and respected as a contributor in our classroom environment. You can join this dynamic team!

This is the perfect opportunity for anyone who cares about young children’s social, emotional and cognitive development to help provide educational activities and support kids one-to-one, in small group settings, and in the full classroom.

Qualifications:

  • Be 16 years or older.
  • Ability to interact with and assist people of varying backgrounds, cultures and identities, including race, ethnicity, class, sexual orientation, ability, gender, etc.
  • Experience and/or passion for working with kids.
  • Black, Indigenous, and people of color, multilingual speakers, all genders, veterans, and people with disabilities are encouraged to apply.
  • Be self-directed and able to multitask.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Helpful demeanor and friendly.
  • Patience while working with young children.
  • Highly respectful of confidentiality.
  • Dependable and communicative if you cannot attend a shift.
