Gentiva Hospice in Springfield (and surrounding area's) is looking for good people who want to volunteer and make a difference in their community. We are looking for volunteers who want to work in our office to do administrative tasks.

Our Springfield office is looking for a volunteer to do tuck in calls for our patients. This is when a volunteer would call our home patients on Wednesdays or Thursdays before the weekend to find out if there is anything that the patient or family may need before the weekend. This is something that a volunteer could perform from home.

No minimum time commitments required. We can work with your schedule. Most volunteers give an hour of their time three times per month. We will train you at our Springfield office.

As an office volunteer you can help with copying, filing, creating binders and folders, help with bereavement mailings, work on special projects, and other duties that you feel comfortable doing.
