Gentiva Hospice is looking for US Military Veteran (or actively serving military) volunteers (ages 18 and up) to help provide support to veterans with life limiting conditions and their caregivers. Veteran-to-Veteran support volunteers provide a bond to other veterans like no one else can. Here are a few examples of how our Veteran-to-Veteran support volunteers serve:

* Provide companionship and emotional support to fellow veterans and their caregivers
* Provide respite (sitting with the veteran / patient) while the caregiver runs errands
* Run errands for the veteran and their caregiver
* Participate in our veteran recognition and pinning ceremonies

You choose how you want to serve and how often.

No medical experience is needed as volunteers do not perform nursing duties or dispense medication.

America's veterans have done everything asked of them in their mission. It is our honor to serve those who have served us. We hope your will join us.
