The Literacy Alliance is seeking caring and companionate individuals for our Project Connects program. This program provides an opportunity for adults to improve their English literacy.

Volunteers are provided training to be a class tutor/assistant. Knowledge of a second language is not required.

The ELL classrooms are lead by an ELL teacher. Tutors are there to help assist with pronunciations, practice conversations, and aid in small group activities.

There is flexible commitment. We have volunteers that do every other week or only attend for the first two hours of class weekly.

To sign up today, please follow the link to our volunteer application-- https://literacyalliance.org/get-involved/volunteer/.

Our volunteers make it happen! The Literacy Alliance strives to end illiteracy by teaching adults through learning centers, literacy programs, and tutoring services that empower individuals to succeed at work, at home, and in the community.
