The Literacy Alliance is seeking caring and companionate volunteer tutors for our Project Graduate program. This program provides an opportunity for adults to improve literacy and prepare for the high school equivalency test.

Volunteers are provided training and assist the on-site teacher. This included helping students with introductory algebra concepts, geometry, language concepts, reasoning, and more. Classes meet every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 5:30 pm-8:30 pm. We are asking volunteers to committee to one evening a week for a minimum of six months.
