We are looking for passionate Volunteers who want to make a positive difference to humanity by providing their expertise and talents to build the IT team, retain the team, and implement strategic Projects for VPIA.

The applicant need to show strategic thinking, leadership, reliability, commitment, cooperation, communication excellence and diligence.

VPIA’s technology environment currently supports a website, product sales, donations, several social media sites, applications to support our training partners (we call them Facilitators), and Google Workspace for internal content, administration, and communications.

The environment is anchored in NeonCRM with links to Squarespace and Constant Contact among others. Application development can require interfaces among these platforms and, in some cases, with external systems. Proficiency with Javascript, PHP, and JSON preferred.

Development needs are extensive. VPIA is seeking a volunteer technology leader who can evaluate software capabilities, design solutions and coordinate the work of developers to deliver needed products. This leader may also develop requests for proposals and engage contractors.

In addition to continuing to deliver specific results, there is a need for both a digital infrastructure design and a technology plan. The process of developing these will necessarily engage the Board of Directors to set priorities.
