2023 Backpacks for Success

Sign-up, and someone will contact you with more information!

In 2022, United Way of Greater Cincinnati launched the first annual Backpacks for Success collection in support of several Faith-Based and community partners in Hamilton County. Volunteers like you enabled incredible results, contributing over 1,800 backpacks filled with school supplies for elementary, middle, and high school students.

This year, we are excited to continue supporting our partners in Hamilton County and to expand this program to reach students and families in Northern Kentucky and on the West Side of Cincinnati. United Way of Greater Cincinnati is asking community and corporate partners to collect, assemble and help distribute 2,500 backpacks filled with school supplies.

GET INVOLVED:

  • Virtual Product Drive - Purchase school items for elementary and middle/high school students from our Virtual Backpacks for Success product drive.
  • Host Your Own Assembly Event - Purchase backpacks and school supplies on your own (United Way will provide a list), assemble the backpacks with friends, family, or colleagues, and deliver them to United Way for distribution.
  • Volunteer in Person - Volunteers (including small groups up to 10 people) are needed for the Back-to-School events listed above
