Remote Volunteer Position

As our LinkedIn Administrator, you’ll play an important role managing and growing our LinkedIn presence. This role is responsible for communicating with our recruitment and social media teams managing our LinkedIn page - ensuring fresh & relevant content is posted regularly, post/comments are interacted with and messages are responded to in a reasonable timeframe.

Team: The Human Resources and Volunteer Team

Location :

• Remote/Virtual - Virtual from anywhere, understanding we are in the CST time zone.

Time Commitment: 1-4 hours a week

Compensation: This is a Volunteer Position with no monetary compensation. After one year of service we issue a professional letter of recommendation from our Director of Volunteer Management and Human Resources, as well as a LinkedIn recommendation(s) as applicable.

Reports to: Director of Human Resources and Volunteer Management

Works with: Assistant Director of Recruitment, Assistant Director of Volunteer Operations, Director of Marketing and our social media & marketing teams.

Position Responsibilities:

• Regularly audit our LinkedIn page to best reflect the organization as an attractive space for both potential volunteers and staff.
• Be a trusted contributing partner, meeting goals, objectives and deadlines.
• Ensure timely, accurate and applicable engagement on our LinkedIn page.
• Build a team of one (1) - three (3) well trained and reliable volunteers to assist you in reaching your goals as/if needed.
• Understand and report data metrics, ensuring annual growth is achieved and reflective.

Skills and Qualifications best suited for this position:

• Possess a strong sense of self, confident and focused

• Ability to set goals and keep them

• Committed to clear direction, communication and follow-up

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Ability to operate a computer or mobile device
• The following activities are required:
• Ability to operate a computer and/or mobile device.
• The ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
• The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand.
