We’re trying to make change with the development of new bills to put before the California legislature that will improve the lives of thousands of children and families that were separated at the U.S./Mexico border and have yet to have their voices heard - we’re ready to get loud. Do you want to be a part of it?

We’re looking for a research volunteer: Foster Care Reformation Research

The Foster Care Reformation Research Volunteer will focus on immigration, child rights, and foster care reformations, identifying partners to help us in our investigative work, and forming policies that we will bring before members of the California parliament.

We ask that research volunteers:

• Commit to volunteering 3-4 hours per week for a minimum of 12 weeks
• Understand basic research and information gathering techniques
• Experience with Google Docs and Microsoft Excel for the storage of research findings
• Have reliable internet access
• Be willing to meet one-on-one with the Founder and Director of Forever Homes for Foster Kids on a weekly basis
• Ability to work independently, resourceful, and committed to meeting deadlines and deliverables
• Document your work and create a cessation plan before you leave the project.
