AccentCare Hospice of Jackson is looking for Volunteers to visit patients throughout the metro Jackson area.
As a Hospice Patient Companionship Volunteer, you will visit patients and their caregivers on a regular basis to provide:
- Emotional support
- Social Interaction
- Supportive listening
- Companionship
- Respite and/or Practical Support
- Communicate concerns and/or needs on a regular and timely basis.
Volunteers set their own levels of commitment and travel based on their available time and the needs of our patients.
Qualifying applicants are U.S. Citizens that are 15 years of age or older and able to pass a health screen, background check, and drug test.
Notice: Our volunteer opportunities require in-person completion of some hiring modules and training during the onboarding process. Applicants should consider this requirement upon application and be able to accommodate.
