Spanish-speaking Virtual Volunteer Musicians Needed for Musicians On Call!

Musicians On Call (MOC) is a nonprofit organization that brings live and recorded music to the bedsides of patients, families and caregivers in healthcare environments. You can help deliver the healing power of music virtually!

MOC Volunteer Musicians perform acoustically for 30 minutes on Zoom while the feed is livestreamed to pediatric and adult patients in hospitals across the country. Musicians are always accompanied by a trained MOC Volunteer Guide who acts as the host. Musicians should speak fluent Spanish, and all music must be memorized and lyrics and commentary MUST be appropriate for a hospital setting. MOC has a song database that musicians must pick from when they select their repertoire for virtual hospital performances. Other material outside of the approved song list may be submitted to MOC staff for approval.

Volunteer Musician applicants must submit an audition video which will be evaluated for suitability prior to acceptance into the program. MOC’s certification process is as follows:

• MOC Certification (includes Background check)
• Volunteer Audition Video and Application
• Option to shadow an MOC Virtual shift prior to start date

Volunteers must commit to volunteering once a month for at least one year.
