The Brooklyn Hospital Center is looking bright, committed individual/volunteers who are passionate about patient safety and would like to work with the Infection Control Department to help prevent infection and improve patient outcomes.

Opportunity Description

  • Healthcare or clinical experience preferred, but is not required
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Able to interact with patients and staff
  • Conduct IC related rounds on all units
  • Participate in the Hand Hygiene Program
  • Computer/data entry skills preferred
  • Assigned other IC related duties as appropriate

Training

  • Training will be provided by the IC Department
This position is great for students or individuals interested in public health, medicine, nursing or other areas of health care.
