Do you want to help elementary and middle school kids with their homework? We are looking for a volunteer to come every Wednesday from 3:30pm-4:30pm. The volunteer will work with youth one-on-one if needed, maintaining the balance between giving them independence and support.
If you're looking to make a difference in your community, this is a wonderful opportunity to give back!
Schedule: Wednesdays from 3:30pm-4:30pm
Requirements: Ongoing SAHA Community Volunteers must commit to volunteer once a week for a minimum of 4 months, and must complete a volunteer orientation, volunteer forms and background screening prior to beginning their placement.

Description
The purpose of the SAHA's Volunteer Program is to improve the quality of living and promote health and well-being for Satellite Housing's residents. Volunteers will help foster community by facilitating activities for the residents, such as exercise groups, art classes, discussion groups, providing health and wellness information, leading or participating in games, assisting with special events, etc. The residents really appreciate the effort that is put forth by the volunteers, and look forward to the weekly interactions.
