The goal of the Home Beautification program is to help seniors maintain and improve their living environment , which may have become cluttered , need a fresh coat of paint or needs a touch of TLC. Home Beautification also seeks to remove fall risks, and to positively impact the lives of seniors in need through community interaction.
Activities vary based on individual need, but common needs include: organizing, cleaning, moving heavy items, yardwork, painting, tech assistance, etc.
Right now, Sourcewise is assisting a bedbound older adult who is moving into a Senior Nursing Facility. We have the labor, but have run out of boxes, garbage bags, and packing tape!
Looking for volunteers to donate boxes, clean garbage bags, and tape suitable for packing, sorting, and moving to help this senior transition into her new home safely.

Since 1973, Sourcewise has provided services and support to seniors in Santa Clara County. At Sourcewise, we continue to support seniors and caregivers as we expand our reach to include persons with disabilities and all adults in Santa Clara County. We aim to inform, educate, and prepare all adults within Santa Clara County to better navigate their health and life options.
