ORGANIZATION: Best Friends Animal Society

Staff w/dog & Logo

Would you have a few hours to help shelter animals in your community?

Best Friends is looking for volunteers to distribute our Adopt Local campaign flyers to shelters, community centers, vet offices, pet stores, etc. before National Puppy Day on March 23, 2023 and/or National Shelter Pet Day on April 30, 2023.

In support of the Best Friends mission to make every shelter and every community no-kill by 2025, our Adopt Local campaign is focused on raising awareness that there is an animal shelter in your community. The Adopt Local campaign will also encourage people to adopt, foster, volunteer and support your local shelter to help save lives in your community.

Only 1-2 hours is needed to help shelter animals in your community! We also ask that you have access to transportation for distribution of flyers.

For more information:

If you are interested in volunteering, please email us at Thank you!

Black, Indigenous, People of color and LGBTQ individuals are strongly encouraged to volunteer.
