Located along the beautiful Cumberland Mountains, Cumberland Gap National Historical Park stretches across three states: Kentucky, Tennessee and Virginia. With over 85 miles of hiking trails, historical sites, overlooks, camping, and guided tours, Cumberland Gap provides opportunities for visitors of all ages and abilities.
The Visitor Services Volunteer Position is a public-facing position. You will primarily serve behind the Front Desk at the park's Visitor Center and museum, where you will greet both new and returning Visitors as they enter the building. You will have ample opportunity to shadow the rangers at the front desk as part of your training, during which you will learn the ins-and-outs of Front Desk and Visitor Center duties, and how to answer common Visitor questions.
