ORGANIZATION: The Brooklyn Hospital Center

The Brooklyn Hospital Center is seeking community minded volunteers who would like to volunteer on the Mother/Baby floor of our hospital. These volunteers would visit new mothers, help engage them in conversation and encourage them as they start the next chapter of their lives with their new baby. They would also help the mother if she needed basic items while in the hospital, such as, blanket, diapers and such.

Skills needed for this position
Someone who is nurturing and mature
An ideal candidate would have an understanding of breast feeding

The Brooklyn Hospital Center has been Helping Keep Brooklyn Healthy for over 175 years. We are committed to serving Brooklyn and Greater New York City. Our hospital is located in historic Downtown Brooklyn. We are near several of the major subway lines.
