Miracle Babies' 15th annual Superhero 5K is one of the organization's largest fundraisers of the year, enabling them to continue to support and fund their programs and mission, serving the families with babies in the NICU in need of transportation, mental health assistance and additional supportive services.
Volunteers will be assisting with set up, registration/check in, craft activities, carnival games, obstacle course, water stations, finish line, and clean up.
Opportunity Requirements & Important Notes
Attire: Closed-toe shoes. Comfortable, weather appropriate clothing that is easy to move around in and can get dirty. Wearing a light jacket is recommended. This opportunity takes place outdoors with little or no shade so wearing sun protection like a hat and sunscreen is recommended.
Bring: Water bottle
Physical Ability: Volunteers will be lifting items up to 15 pounds. Unfortunately this opportunity is not able to make accommodations for individuals with physical limitations and the space where this project takes place is not wheelchair accessible.
Weather: This event will take place rain or shine.
Note: Signing the Miracle Babies waiver is required to volunteer and can be signed online. Registration for this event will close 48 hours before the start of each shift.

Description
Miracle Babies will be hosting quarterly drive through Diaper Distributions in the LA area. We will need volunteers to help set up the event, distribute the diapers into vehicles and clean up the event.
