Bunny Baskets: Here’s your chance to make Easter a little brighter for children we serve through our Bunny Basket drive.
Project Overview: Make as many baskets as you would like!
Materials must be in new condition. Once all of the supplies have been collected, assemble individual packages in Ziploc bags or in any type of basket of your choice. CHS team members will share the pre-assembled packages based on the greatest need of the clients they serve.
This is a great opportunity to receive community service hours. There is no limit to how many hours you can receive.
Each kit will earn you 2 hours of volunteer time. Each kit must contain a minimum of 5 items.
Once completed kits can be mailed to our location Children’s Home Society FL Attn: Julie Young 3335 Forest Hill Blvd West Palm Beach, FL 33406.
We also have drop off locations in South Miami Dade, Palm Beach, and Vero Beach.
To Get Started:
- Complete a profile on our volunteer website chsfl.volunteerhub.com .
- Create your baskets (baskets can be for any age group and gender) and make sure it contains 5 different items. See suggested items below. You can also donate pre-made baskets.
- Mail your kits in or email young@chsfl.org schedule a drop off at one of our offices located in Homestead, Palm Beach, or Vero Beach.
- For volunteer verification letter or if you need a form signed please email young@chsfl.org .

Please share volunteer opportunity with anyone else you know who is in need of volunteer hours. There is no age requirement. Great opportunity for busy adults and students.
