This is a Remote Volunteer Opportunity. Whether you want to volunteer as an individual or organize a group, CHS remote volunteer projects allow you to make a difference in the lives of our teachers. This project is completed at your location and at your convenience. You can earn 2 volunteer hours per basket or purchase 1 item from our Amazon wish list. There is no limit to how many hours you can receive. DETAILED DESCRIPTION Through a long-term partnership with the school district, a college or university, and a health care provider, CHS leads community collaboration to bring resources and opportunities to students and families. Community Partnership Schools address students’ holistic needs, recognizing their unique challenges - and opportunities. You can help us recognize and celebrate our teachers by building some "Teacher Appreciation Baskets". Each basket must have at least 5 items from the below list. "Baskets" can be made with anything to hold the items. Suggested Basket items: Travel size hand Sanitizer Pens Water Bottle or Tumblr Post it Notes Highlighters Chap stick Travel size Kleenex Travel size lotion $5.00 gift card Once completed contact Julie Young at julie.young@chsfl.org to coordinate delivery and ask any questions. In person volunteer forms can be signed off at our Palm beach location located at CHS 3335 Forest Hill Blvd West Palm Beach, FL 33406 ask for Detris or Latoya. To get started please complete a profile on our volunteer website https://chsfl.volunteerhub.com and register under "Teacher Appreciation." Register for how many events according to how many hours you are in need of. Example-each event represents 2 hours, if you are in need of 10 hours -register for five days. Make sure your kit contain at least 5 items. Each kit will earn you 2 hours of volunteer time.
