The Acts Database Coordinator provides insight and analysis into our Acts of Kindness program. This role includes the consolidation of data from our program across multiple sources and placing it into a common dataset. Reporting to the Acts Manager, they provide insight and analyze information which is shared with internal stakeholders through the selection and contribution of data for the Annual Report, Overall Budget, and for general reporting purposes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Take information from past, current, and future Acts of Kindness and feed it directly into an Airtable database. This requires the skill to determine which data is relevant to fulfill our objectives.
- Data clean historical Acts already recorded in the database.
- Maintain the database with prospective data in real-time.
- Ensure absolute confidentiality when working with Acts data.
- Collect, evaluate, analyze, qualify, organize, package, and disseminate information in a way that maximizes its usefulness and enables accurate and educated decision-making in the development of the overall strategy of Random Acts.

- Excellent computer skills.
- Excellent communication skills and a keen sense of diplomacy and tact.
- Well organized, attention to detail, and deadline oriented.
- Ability to research information and analyze data to arrive at valid conclusions.
- Strategic thinker, ability to take a research request and strategize the best way to fulfill it.
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability, able to keep an open mind and improvise.
- Tactful, creative, and enthusiastic, with the ability to positively motivate others.
- Willing to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with spreadsheet-type databases and eagerness to master Airtable.
- Intermediate-level knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
- Desire to work solely behind-the-scenes rather than in a public-facing role.
- Flexibility to attend team meetings where possible.
