This will be a day in a half event. Volunteers will work a full day alongside some members of staff and group members from NM Volunteers for the Outdoors Saturday and possibly a half day Sunday, if needed.

· Volunteers will be taught how to safely use gardening equipment needed to maintain the trails.

· Volunteers will help clear debris, overhanging vegetation, trim back the trail roughly a foot on either side, and widen the trail up to 18" when directed by staff. Relocation of small to medium-sized rocks (no larger than someone's boot) in some areas as well.


Locals can drive to the park at the start of each workday, people from out of town would be able to stay at our camping site reserved for work crews and volunteers.
