Tutor Responsibilities

  • The tutor should demonstrate academic competence in subject area(s) and ability to build and execute a curriculum.
  • Tutors will act as a role-model for mentees.
  • Attend weekly team meetings and collaborate effectively with parents and Caught Up mentors to enhance student performance and address individual student needs.
  • Regularly track mentee grades
  • Recognizes the relationship between social-emotional learning and academic performance and shows an ability to teach the "whole child."
