About Us:

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides underserved youth with high-quality instruction in academics, test prep, and essential learning and life skills. Our mission is to minimize the disproportionate learning losses for low-income students to provide economic, social, and emotional stability for the youth served, their families, and their community.

What you’ll do:

ALL INTERNS:

• Ideate and create differentiated social content to appeal to various stakeholders
• Compose regular newsletters about E.R.E.’s successes, future plans, and announcements
• Take over the 3 social media accounts to increase engagement (1 week per month)
• Share our social media content with your network (1 week per month)

GRAPHIC DESIGN INTERNS:

• Design different visuals (3-4 social media posts per week)
• Create videos for Reels/TikTok/YouTube (1 per week)
• Design visuals for the website, newsletters, and reports (as needed)

SOCIAL MEDIA INTERNS:

• Design different captions (3-4 social media posts per week)
• Manually post Reel (created by GD Intern) on Instagram (1 per week)

CONTENT WRITING INTERNS:

• Compose SEO-friendly blogs (2 per month) related to education, equity, and nonprofit work
• Create Lead Magnets (at least 1 per month) to help us build our contact list (for CRM)

What you’ll be learning:

E.R.E. invests heavily in your professional development, helping you to develop skills that will enable you to succeed with us, as well as throughout your career.

Key skill competencies you’ll learn include:

• Collaboration with the marketing team
• Hands-on work to strategize and plan marketing content
• Marketing best practices

E.R.E. promotes from within! After 6 months, there is potential to be promoted to other positions.

Requirements:

• You are 15 years old or older
• You can dedicate at least 40 hours per month for a minimum of 6 months
• You have reliable access to a device with email and WiFi
