About Us: We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to providing underserved youth with high-quality instruction in academics, test prep, and essential learning and life skills. Our mission is to minimize the disproportionate learning losses faced by low-income students and to offer economic, social, and emotional stability to the youth, their families, and their communities.

Description: We are seeking enthusiastic volunteers to join our marketing team as Content Creators. As a Content Creator, you will play a key role in shaping our content strategy across various social channels. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about digital marketing and content creation, eager to contribute to meaningful causes.

Requirements:

• Age: 15 years old or older
• Time Commitment: Dedicate at least 5 hours per week for a minimum of 6 months
• Technical Requirements: Reliable access to WiFi

Duties:

• All Interns:

  • Content Ideation: Create engaging and differentiated social content to appeal to various stakeholders.
  • Newsletters: Compose regular newsletters about E.R.E.’s successes, future plans, and announcements.
  • Social Media Management: Manage and increase engagement on three social media accounts (1 week per month).
  • Content Sharing: Share our social media content with your network (1 week per month).

• Graphic Design Interns:

  • Visual Design: Create various visuals (3-4 social media posts per week).
  • Video Creation: Design and produce videos for Reels/TikTok/YouTube (1 per week).
  • Visual Assets: Design visuals for the website, newsletters, and reports as needed.

• Social Media Interns:

  • Caption Design: Write engaging captions for social media posts (3-4 posts per week).
  • Reel Posting: Post Reels (created by Graphic Design Intern) on Instagram (1 per week).

• Content Writing Interns:

  • Blog Writing: Compose SEO-friendly blogs (2 per month) related to education, equity, and nonprofit work.
  • Lead Magnets: Create lead magnets (at least 1 per month) to help build our contact list for CRM.
