By helping to Puppy Sit a future assistance dog, you are enhancing the quality of life for people with disabilities, bringing them more freedom, independence and peace of mind.
Volunteers act as Sitters for 7 or less days at a time to allow their foster homes to have breaks while the dogs grow up and get trained in. Dogs are typically between 10 weeks and 2.5 years of age.
Can Do Canines covers the costs of the dog food, vet visits, and monthly preventatives!
Volunteers in this program should live near the Twin Cities area or Eau Claire, WI to pick up and drop off dogs.
No experience is needed to work with our puppies. We’re with you every step of the way!
