Friendly and enthusiastic volunteers are needed to make donor thank you phone calls (NO soliciting)!

Volunteers will be provided with a donor call list and a simple phone script that expresses gratitude for their generosity in supporting The Salvation Army's mission.

When: This is a flexible, weekly volunteer opportunity. Volunteers may assist with this meaningful task Monday-Friday on a weekly, bi-weekly, or even monthly basis - whichever best meets their availability and desire!

*Note: Volunteers are asked to help for a minimum of two hours per shift.

Where: The Salvation Army Hospitality House, located at 1002 N. Main Ave. Tucson, AZ

Description

The Salvation Army provides services to the Tucson community by way of temporary shelter, transitional housing, case management, job training, and GED Training. We hand out food boxes, water and clothing to those in need.

We also have youth programs such as day and summer camps and after school programs similar to Boy and Girl Scouts.

During the holidays, we provide meals for community members on Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter. We also host the Christmas Angel Giving Tree and Adopt-a-Family program for those in need at Christmas.
