Join our amazing group of Hospice Volunteers! Training classes explore the history of hospice, physical symptoms, spirituality, grief & bereavement, and how to be a great volunteer.
Volunteers are friendly visitors for our hospice patients at home and in nursing facilities.
Volunteers are needed to read to patients, provide a listening ear, play music, provide reiki, and to visit with certified pet therapy teams.
Volunteers are required to be vaccinated, complete health screens and background checks.
When you give us the valuable gift of your time and compassion, we give you a chance to make a real difference in someone’s life.

Description
Our Volunteers are friendly visitors for our Hospice patients at home and nursing facilities. Volunteer are needed to read to patients, provide a listening ear, play music, or provide Reiki. We also seek Certified Pet Therapy teams. Volunteers visit in private homes, nursing facilities and in our system hospitals, based on their individual schedule and preferences. A prospective volunteer must pass a background check, drug test and be up to date on COVID and Flu vaccines. Free training provided.
