Join Our Team as a Social Media Content Director and Make a Difference!

Are you passionate about using social media to make a positive impact on the world? Do you bring extensive experience in social media management and want to use your skills to support a great cause?

Look no further! The Compathos Foundation is seeking a dedicated and creative Social Media Content Director to join our working board of directors on a voluntary basis. As our Social Media Content Director serving on our board, you will be responsible for leading our social media strategy.

Primary Responsibilities of the Social Media Content Director include assistance in:

- Develop and implement social media strategy across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube

- Create engaging text, image, and video content tailored for each platform

- Collaborate with marketing team to align posting calendar and campaigns

- Track performance analytics and provide reporting

- Identify and leverage emerging social media trends and platforms

- Ensure brand consistency across social channels

- Serve on the Marketing and Development committees, when feasible


Education and Experience Required

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Journalism or a related degree

- Minimum 5-10 years of social media management experience

- Deep knowledge of major social platforms and trends

- Hands-on experience creating branded content (text, graphical, video)

- Experience with social media analytics tools and reporting

- Strong project management and communication skills

- Data-driven mindset and critical thinking

- Excellent copywriting abilities

In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to make a difference by promoting our mission and engaging communities of supporters. This board position requires 10-12 hours per month and is perfect for someone looking to create positive change while gaining experience serving on a nonprofit foundation's board of directors.
