Have you ever considered becoming a mentor and sharing your journey through motherhood? Journey Beside Mothers (JBM) is responding to a need in our community to support mothers of children, newborn through preschool-aged, who need the kind of support that families have traditionally been able to give. Volunteers will be matched according to the mother's needs, with a weekly minimum time commitment of 1 hour, up to 4 hours. for a minimum of 3 months.

We liken JBM to the 21st-century version of the extended family. We connect mothers with volunteer mentors who are able to care for mother's needs, which in turn helps the whole family to be healthier mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. We are in need of mentors to walk alongside these mothers and children.

There is an initial 1-hour orientation for new volunteers.
