Visit when it works with your schedule, have fun with the patients, bring smiles to their faces. Patients get bored easily and there are really not enough staff in facilities and some patients still live at home, so it could be an time to help them organize their pictures, play cars, build puzzles, work with those who want to have visitors.
We will sign off for school credit hours and can write evaluations for you if needed.

Description
Providing care and comfort to patients. Opportunities include direct patient visitation and administrative support. We provide feedback to schools for volunteer credit. We provide internships for those in nursing and social work. Travel will be limited, with the exception of internships, which may be only to visit different sites. Our goal is to provide companionship as well as socialization to those who express desire to have a volunteer visit. Our scope of activities may be limitless, we help with light housekeeping, running errands, helping with activities, quiet time to reflect and hear life experiences.
