Want to take some time to do things for other people? This might be the opportunity you have been looking for. We work with patients that have a desire to have their own personal friend visit with them once or twice a week and spend time just with them.
You can read to them, watch TV with them, take a walk and visit some activities, share tea or coffee, work a puzzle, learn about their wonderful live, and just about anything else you might think they can do.
We seek 18 or older to work with patients, you would need to take a TB test, drug screening and a background check, all at no cost to you. We can meet for coffee or a soda once you have completed the application, and we will then start orientation and training you for working with our wonderful patients.
I am looking forward to meeting some new people that want to give back to others.

We strive to connect with all of our patients and provide personalized physical, mental and spiritual care.
Description
Providing care and comfort to patients. Opportunities include direct patient visitation and administrative support. We provide feedback to schools for volunteer credit. We provide internships for those in nursing and social work. Travel will be limited, with the exception of internships, which may be only to visit different sites. Our goal is to provide companionship as well as socialization to those who express desire to have a volunteer visit. Our scope of activities may be limitless, we help with light housekeeping, running errands, helping with activities, quiet time to reflect and hear life experiences.
