Global FC creates a village around each youth soccer player who joins Global FC! Most of our volunteers contribute one day a week through tutoring, mentorship, driving, or soccer coaching!

We are looking for BACKUP and ongoing drivers. Shifts will be offered for evenings and weekends (mostly day time on Saturday as well as weekday evenings) throughout the spring and fall soccer seasons. These shifts can be picked up as often as you want and are meant to offer a way to engage our community without a required weekly commitment.

No soccer experience required. Must complete: Pass a criminal background check, and submit a copy of your DL.

Thank you in advance for your interest!

About GLOBAL FC

Mission Statement

Global FC exists to bridge diverse cultures to come together, forming just communities where all are free to be fully-known and fully-loved in pursuit of their God-given purpose and potential. Mission: Global FC uses soccer as a vehicle for transformative impact.

Description

Global FC was founded by first generation refugee, Mariya Goodbrake, and primarily serves first generation immigrant and refugee youth in the northeast neighborhoods of Kansas City, Missouri using soccer as our tool for transformation. We support youth with the tools to overcome obstacles to success by providing resources, opportunities, and relationships towards a brighter future. We accomplish this through our three areas of programming: Soccer, Education and Mentoring.

Our holistic approach harnesses the power of relationships to reduce youth violence and family conflict, strengthen communities, inspire academic success, promote health and wellness and to create mentorship chains.
