Global FC Soccer Programming is committed to providing underserved youth with quality soccer opportunities and access to the best facilities, leagues and tournaments in their city. Our teams play in the Heartland Soccer League and play in two local Kansas City tournaments each season. With the humble beginning of twelve refugee kids kicking the soccer ball around at the local community center with damaged goals and a field filled with holes, currently, our various programmings engage almost three hundred youth from over twenty-nine nations represented in the overall Global community. This includes, but not limited to: Somalia, Syria, Iraq, Congo, Rwanda, Thailand, Burma, Honduras, Mexico, Sudan, Uganda, Kenya. The overwhelming majority of youth and families we work with come from across the globe and the populations we work with speak numerous languages. The refugee population began as our area of focus. Our programming is now accessible to any at-risk and underserved youth. We are committed to investing in youth from our nations low income families by providing access to quality sports opportunities, breaking the "pay to play" model. By hiring dedicated coaches and trainers, alongside our diverse volunteer base, we aim to inspire their success on and off the field by encouraging youth to pursue their greatest potential as individuals and athletes. Currently, Global FC Soccer Programming serves youth from ages 11-18 years old. Our Fall season runs from August to November and the Spring season runs from March through June. Our coaches are required to train twice a week with their teams. Some soccer coaching experience is highly recommended. Global FC has partnered with U.S. Soccer and provides free Grassroots Coaching Courses for all our coaches, with special opportunities for some coaches to receive their D and C licenses.

Global FC creates a village around each youth soccer player who joins Global FC! Most of our volunteers contribute one day a week through tutoring, mentorship, driving, or soccer coaching! We are looking for BACKUP and ongoing drivers. Shifts will be offered for evenings and weekends (mostly day time on Saturday as well as weekday evenings) throughout the spring and fall soccer seasons. These shifts can be picked up as often as you want and are meant to offer a way to engage our community without a required weekly commitment. No soccer experience required. Must complete: Pass a criminal background check, and submit a copy of your DL. Thank you in advance for your interest!
