Envision's mission is to increase quality of life and independence through principles of compassion, integrity, knowledge and uncompromising service.

Envision is seeking compassionate and dedicated volunteers to visit and provide support to hospice patients and their families. Volunteers will meet with their hospice patient regularly doing various activities that interest the patient or to just be a friendly visitor. Activities may include reading to the patient, watching a movie or tv show, playing music for the patient or just providing a listening ear to the patient.

Training is provided and volunteers are not expected or permitted to provide hands-on medical support to patients. You are simply there to be a ray of sunshine in a hospice patient's day!

We will match you to a patient as close to your residence or as far away as you would like. We have patients all across Denver, Westminster, Arvada, Aurora, Lakewood, Boulder and Brighton.

  • Orientation or Training
  • The initial training is 12 hours. This training can all be done over the computer. After the onboarding, volunteers can accept assignments at their discretion. Most volunteers spend 1-2 hours volunteering each week.
  • One hour trainings once a month over the computer.
