Envision Hospice is seeking caring individuals to be friendly visitors to patients on hospice in their own homes or in nursing facilities. Volunteers can read to patients, play music for them, play card games or just be a listening ear. Volunteers are oriented and receive ongoing training throughout the year.

Envision Hospice is seeking compassionate and caring aromatherapy volunteers to provide aroma therapy to hospice patients. Volunteers must be certified in aromatherapy in order to volunteer. Volunteers will visit hospice patients on a regular basis. Volunteers must complete hospice orientation, pass a background check and get a TB skin test in order to visit patients.

Envision is seeking caring volunteers with certified pet therapy dogs or animals to visit hospice patients on a regular basis. Volunteers with pet therapy animals can bring so much joy to patients on hospice! Volunteers need to be background checked, complete hospice orientation and get a TB skin test. Pet therapy animals need to have the rabies vaccine and owners need to present a certificate of pet therapy completion.

Envision Hospice is seeking volunteers to dedicate their time to paint nails for patients in hospice care. Volunteers will meet with patients regularly (once a week or every couple of weeks). Training is provided and we will match you with a hospice patient/patients that are close to where you reside. Volunteers are needed all across Colorado Springs, Fountain, Monument, Manitou Springs and Peyton.
