Volunteers United/AmeriCorps Seniors recruits volunteers for non-profit agencies in Martin County, matching volunteer interests and skills to create a meaningful, rewarding volunteer experience.

The mission of the organization where this opportunity is located is to help the less fortunate and those in need by providing goods and services when necessary.

A variety of positions need to be filled at this Hobe Sound thrift store: sales, sorting/pricing, truck assistance, office finance and computer knowledge.

Duties may include: using a cash register and credit card machine, sorting donated items (clothing, housewares and furniture), Quickbooks knowledge and/or excel & Word programs for Finance office.

Requirements may include standing during shift 3.5 hours, lifting (truck duties) and pantry includes light lifting (5-10#).
