We at Bridge Hospice are keeping out commitment to our hospice patients and their families/caregivers by supporting them even after their loved one has passed.
If you have sewing skills would you consider sewing Memory Bears for our bereaved families?
Memory Bears are made from using the patient's clothing or other items belonging to the patient which our provided by the family. Once bears are completed by the volunteer, the Volunteer Coordinator will pick up and deliver the Memory Bear to the bereaved family.
We are also in need of sensory blankets for our Dementia patients. These blankets provide the patients with a form of stimulation that helps keep them busy.
Volunteers are required to provide their own supplies.
Memory Bears bring the bereaved family members so much comfort. We hope you will consider joining our team.

Bridge is a patient and family centered hospice that is dedicated to "connecting" our patients and their families to excellent End-of-Life Care.
We have patients located throughout the Palm Springs area in a variety of settings.
Bridge's goal is to ensure that every patient in our care is provided with the best team of people possible, and that includes volunteers!
Our administrative office is located in downtown Palm Springs. We are always looking for volunteers wanting to assist in the office.

- Vunteers make their own schedule. We ask that volunteers commit to 12 months to our program and provide at least 5 hours of volunteer time a month.
- Volunteers are required to provide their Drivers License, auto insurance, and Social Security card. completion of online training, TB testing (covered by Bridge), and two hour orientation.
