Hartford HealthCare at Home is hosting a volunteer training series. Classes will explore the history of hospice, physical symptoms, spirituality, grief & bereavement, and what to do as a volunteer. Volunteers visit in homes and nursing facilities based on your individual schedule.

Volunteers are friendly visitors for our hospice patients at home and nursing facilities.

Volunteers are needed to read to patients, provide a listening ear, play music, provide reiki, and to visit with certified pet therapy teams. Learn this unique way of giving back from the comfort of your home.
