Peirce Mill Interpretation Volunteer

Peirce Mill has been turning corn into corn meal since 1829. Rock Creek Park and the Friends of Peirce Mill seek friendly and enthusiastic volunteers to help interpret this 19 th -century mechanical marvel.
We’re looking for people who’d like to learn more about Peirce Mill’s history and machinery, then give tours of the mill for park visitors. Volunteers may also assist with mill operations, clean up, and routine maintenance.
Volunteer shifts are Saturdays and Sundays during the milling season (~April through October). Shifts are from 10am to 1pm and 1pm to 4pm.
