- Schedule for volunteers are dependent on availability Monday-Friday of applicant.
- Volunteer will go through a "shadowing" or training period after interviewing for the VIP position. Interviews will be held by the Deputy Chief of Facility Management and Maintenance Operations to ensure that they will be a good fit for the volunteer position they are applying for.
- Upon completion of the shadowing period the volunteer supervisor may adjust the volunteer position to specific sections of agreed duties.
- Volunteer proactively participate in safety assessments prior to engaging in tasks and references the Job Safety Analysis for the task.
