DESCRIPTION IN BRIEF:

The Board Treasurer for the CCA keeps track of expenditures and incomes, balances the budget (Quickbooks), executes transactions (online bank portal) and helps to strategically plan for diversified streams of income including. This may included corporate-sponsorships, individual giving (events, campaigns), community opportunities/tools (King Soopers cards, Amazon Smiles, etc.), and grant research and procurement.

NEED:

There has been, is, and always will be, a need for older Coloradans to have a voice across the communities of our state so that older adults are heard and represented, and so that the services and structures of society meet their needs. All of what the CCA does works towards those ends. The older adult population (65+) in the state of Colorado is currently 14% of the population (810,000; 2021), has doubled in the last 20 years, and is projected to be 20% of the population by 2050.

This position serves the specific need of TREASURER, so that our mission can be pursued with consistency and excellence.
