Help empower trans/gender queer/ gender exploring/ gender variant/ AMAB/ AFAB youth by facilitating Trans discussion group for Lambert House. During quarantine, trans youth especially are looking for connection. We're looking for experienced facilitators for our Trans youth group that meets for 1.5 hours on Mondays and consists of 2 to 10 youth.
Currently, all programs and events, including Trans Group are online. This will change both the training and volunteer experience. Details available during applicant interviews. Volunteer applicants should be local to the Seattle/King County, WA area, because we plan to switch back to in person programming when it is safe.
Facilitators are considered a special category of volunteer and must have experience and expertise in group facilitation and an ability to work well with youth. Facilitators must successfully complete our application and approx 28 hours training process. Target for our next online volunteer training is February 2021. More information about volunteering is available on our website: http://www.lamberthouse.org/volunteer/
