Social Media for Fundraising and Development

We are seeking graphic design production and assistance for our Fundraising and Development Committee.

If you have skills with any of the following, we'd like to hear from you; social media posts, especially TikTok and Twitter; website graphics; print pieces; someone who has skills and a point of view that can enhance our branding and outreach across all platforms to communicate our mission with respect to raising funds and develop long-term donors.

Projects include working with the team to:

Create an email template suite for fundraising,

Update/(re) design images on the website,

Work as part of the team to design an omnichannel fundraising campaign.

We use graphic design for our website and for social media and infographics. We have a marketing team that focuses on the marketing of our cats and kittens, and outreach and education. While this position is similar and there will be some cross-over to marketing, this position will primarily focus on fundraising and donor development. The only mandatory qualification is enthusiasm and commitment!

Qualifications - Optimal, not mandatory!
(Strong) understanding of advertising, social media, and marketing technology
Knowledge and experience in a wide range of social media platforms.
An ability to translate best practices into relevant, practical, and effective outcomes.
Knowledge/ experience in one or more of the following preferred:

Photoshop,
Canva,
Buffer,
Photography/Video Editing,
Illustrator, etc.
Knowledge of basic computer web content design (WordPress)

If you have limited experience in the programs listed above, your willingness to learn, practice, and master some of the necessary techniques can substitute for experience. The ability to communicate well and work independently and as part of a team is necessary!
