ORGANIZATION: The Salvation Army Alameda County

We are looking for volunteers to help our Kitchen Staff in the mornings /evenings at the Oakland Family Emergency Shelter and garden street corps of the salvation army.

The available time slots 6:00am - 7:30pm, Monday - Friday; we are looking for about 4 - 5 volunteers. Scheduling is flexible and we will accept any amount of time that you can volunteer with us. please contact us for more information

Positions consists of -
Washing dishes, Prepping Food, Unloading / Stocking / Organizing, Overall assisting Kitchen needs
weekdays we prepare meals for children enrolled at Booth Memorial Community Childcare and families living in our shelter, our staff/volunteers as well as 300 to-go lunches that are distributed around Oakland to local homeless camps and tiny home communities.
